Le centre commercial Beaugrenelle (Paris 15e) a récolté pour la première fois, le miel fabriqué par les abeilles vivant dans les ruches installées sur le toit végétalisé au sommet de la construction. Ouvert au public le 23 octobre 2013, le centre commercial Beaugrenelle Paris s’est engagé durablement dans la protection de la faune et de la flore en implantant un toit végétalisé au sommet de sa construction. Avec ses 7000 m2 de verdure, cet espace naturel est le plus grand toit végétalisé de la capitale. Dans la lignée des ruches parisiennes, face à la Tour Eiffel, une dizaine de ruches trônent désormais sur cette toiture, sur le modèle de celles du jardin du Luxembourg ou encore de l’Opéra Garnier. Open to the public October 23, 2013, the Paris Beaugrenelle mall was permanently committed to the protection of fauna and flora by planting a green roof atop its construction. With its 7,000 m2 of greenery, this natural area is the largest green roof in the capital. In the tradition of Parisian hives, opposite the Eiffel Tower, a dozen beehives now enthroned on this roof, modeled on those of the Luxembourg Gardens or the Opera Garnier.
