7 mars 2016 : Plusieurs centaines d’habitants et de commercants de Calais et ses environs se sont rassemblés lundi à Paris, devant le ministère de l’Economie (Bercy) avant d’être reçus à l’Elysée. Ils demandent à ce que le Calaisis, par où transitent des centaines de migrants, soit reconnu « en état de catastrophe économique exceptionnelle ». Ils demandent, en plus de l’évacuation totale de la « Jungle », des aides pour redresser l’économie et l’image touristique de la région.
March 7, 2016: Hundreds of residents and traders of Calais and its surroundings gathered Monday in Paris, in front of the Ministry of Economy (Bercy) before being received at the Elysée.
